Coronavirus has affected us all, hitting customer-facing businesses especially hard. Balancing the responsibility of when to safely re-open vs keeping the business alive is a very real dilemma.
Whilst HouseKeep London can't give an answer to when exactly is safe to open for business, what we can do is ensure that when you do it's in the safest way possible, for both you and your customers.
In a recent study from the Harvard Medical School it was found that Coronavirus can last up to 24 hours on cardboard, and up to 3 days on metal or plastic surfaces.
If you suspect your premises or residents, customers or staff members may be at risk from infection from the Coronavirus, we’re here to help you keep your commercial premises clean that could stop the virus spread. We can carry out Coronavirus Deep Cleaning of your premises including sanitising all touchpoints, surfaces, equipment and floors following the appropriate guidelines suggested by the UK government and Public Health institutions.
This includes tables, desks, fixtures, doors & door handles, chairs, equipment (keyboards, mice, monitors, printers, copiers, telephones/handsets), kitchen surfaces and appliances, offices, bathrooms, common areas (lifts, staircases, meeting rooms, receptions, corridors, lobbies), floors and skirting boards.
Our cleaners are wearing protective apparel and use full Virucidal High-Performance Disinfectants with broad-spectrum activity against bacteria, yeast and viruses ideal for use during infection outbreaks.
There are many industries where disinfection without the use of chemicals is critical, and ultraviolet light can provide a safe, effective solution. To ensure light exposure during a disinfection cycle, UV-C Check Strips are used. UV-C Check Strips are photochromic intensity indicators that create a simple, reliable, low-cost method of monitoring ultraviolet light intensity.
The Check Strips have an adhesive backing that allows for easy application to any surface. When exposed to UV-C, the yellow labels undergo a gradual colour change from yellow to a green that is directly related to the energy value received. With increased exposure, the indicator labels will deepen in colour.
While this colour change does not guarantee sterilization, it is a way to provide validation of disinfection in a clear and easy manner. UV-C Check Strips are important in ensuring that packaging or surfaces have indeed been exposed to germicidal ultraviolet light.
We go to this level of detail to ensure your peace of mind, and this can then be transferred to your customers as they continue to use your business!
